Georgiou Class Fast Battlecruiser

For Star Trek Online's "Discovery Operations Bundle," we wanted to include an exclusive skin for the Walker-class ship included in the bundle. The design started as an attempt to see what a "refit" Walker-class ship might look like, but as I developed it, I got further away from that concept and it became a whole new ship entirely. (Though in the game this ship is customizable with the Walker parts.)

I love the aesthetic of the Constitution Refit, the Excelsior and the Oberth class ships, so it was a ton of fun to design something new that belonged to that era that was also a riff on a ship design from Star Trek: Discovery.

I designed and modeled this ship. It uses materials I previously created for the Refit Enterprise. The model began its life with some parts of the excellent Excelsior-class mesh created by Tobias Richter for STO.
