Material cross-section. Star Trek Online uses a material system where every starship is unwrapped to the same UV template, meaning we build most detail into the geometry and map those parts to appropriate sections on the material template.

A conjectural refit of the NX-01 starship featured in Star Trek Enterprise, this configuration might have been used had the show continued to a fifth season. Designed by Doug Drexler, this was intended to be a stepping stone between the original NX-01 and the classic TOS Constitution class.

I modeled and unwrapped this ship. The material was a collaboration between fellow ship artist Mauricio Tejerina and I.
